What's the obsession?

Hoomans are so weird.

Well, mine is.

He likes to stroke my head - I get that.

He likes to give ear scritches - I get that.

But he has one particular obsession.

He likes to touch my nose.

Why?

He gives it gentle rubs, and that's okay.

But he often likes to just touch it and say 'boop'.

What is boop?

Why does he make this sound?

Why does he combine it with touching my nose?

What does he mean when he says my nose is very boopable?

I can't work him out sometimes.

Helping hooman through the day

Wherever possible, I like to help my hooman throughout the day. In fact, to help him with his 'werk', it's my job to: Look cute all day. Take naps. Leave my belly available for fluffy therapy. Purr. Blink. Wee in my tray, to give my hooman something to get up for. Talk to my hooman, to keep him company. Sit on top of things that he needs. By doing all of this, I'm offering my hooman my service. We cats only allow hoomans access to our bellies when we feel safe around them. We only allow belly rubs when we truly trust them. Sometimes, access to our bellies is a trap, and we'll attack as soon as the first hand touches us. I has decided I quite like my hooman. This means he is granted full fluffy belly access. In turn, this means I gets my full belly rubbed - from chin to back feets. Happy. Some may say the 'full access pose' is a little undignified, but I don't care — I loves belly rubs.

Helping again

I'm such a useful kitty. I has been helping my hooman again. He was freshening up his napping quarters, so I kept jumping up to sniff, inspect, and lay on them. He kept picking me up and putting me on the the floor, but my work wasn't done, so I kept jumping back up. He made lots of 'tut' sounds and said I was a 'silly boy'. It's important I help him though. Happy to be of assistance.
