Cosy
Today, the sky cried,
So we all stayed inside.
My hooman was sad,
Like someone had died.
So I snuggled on sofa,
Tried to look cute,
Gave a squeaky meow,
And then went mute.
Rolled onto my side,
And showed off my belly,
Got hooman to ignore,
What was on telly.
I lured him over,
With my floof,
Secured belly rubs,
Of which I approved.
I gave a slow blink,
And soft little purrs,
Thanking my hooman,
For stroking my fur.
I drifted off,
I went for a nap,
Had a weird dream;
Something abstract.
And when I awoke,
Hooman still there.
I like my hooman,
We make a great pair.
