Emergency Cleaning

Sometimes, as a cat, things come up - things which need to be addressed.

This can happen at the most unexpected of times.

I was getting fuss from my hooman and it was nice — I was purring.

But suddenly, I got an urge.
Suddenly my side felt dirty.

It needed a wash urgently.

I moved away from my hooman's hand and immediately started licking my dirty side.

Purring or not, my hooman could wait — this was very important.

It took me a while, but I managed to get my side fur in order eventually.
Then I turned around 7 times and flomped back down again.

I has been wandering about with many things to say today. I has meowed in my hooman's napping quarters. I has meowed on one window sill. I has meowed on the other window sill. I has meowed by the front door. I has meowed at the cupboards. I has meowed at the chairs. I has meowed at the table. I has meowed in every room. I has meowed lots of times at my hooman. He has tried to meow back, but his accent is awful and he makes too many grammatical errors. I is very chatty today.

Shoulder surfing

I has had lots of energy today - lots of zoomies! And when I has energy, I likes to catch my hooman by surprise. I sneaks up behind him, crouches on my back feets, then launches myself upwards... and lands on his shoulders. From here, I can walk backwards and forwards, purr in my hooman's ear, and give him catty headbutts to the face. Sometimes he says 'Frankie - you great lump', but I ignores him and keeps purring. Then he'll reach back and give me ear and head scritches. I has a happy. If he straightens up a bit, it becomes hard to stay on his shoulders...then I has to jump down. But I often come back later for more hooman shoulder surfing. It's fun.

Speedy red creature

I has a confused. I has a vexed. My hooman came in to see me before, in his napping quarters. And a creature seemed to follow him in. A tiny creature. A tiny, bright red creature. It shot out in front of me, so I tried to catch it between my paws. Then it zoomed off to the left, so I ran after it. I thought I'd caught it, but suddenly it appeared on my right. I ran over to it, engaged my butt in a pre-pounce wiggle, and pounced. I thought I had it again, but it reappeared in front of me. It ran past me a few more times, but I just couldn't hunt it down. This little red creature appears to be mocking me. It'll learn. I'll catch it soon.
